Highest Prices Paid Straight Away

Skip the pricing games that other companies use to trick you. We offer our highest price first so you don’t have to haggle or worry about low ball offers.

Unlike others we make our profit in volume. In other words, we make a little bit off a lot of people, meaning you get the significant majority of the money involved in every transaction.

Prices Depend on Various Factors

Bullion is fairly straightforward, as long as the coin or bar is in good condition, depending on volume you can typically expect up to 95% of the spot price. However if there are scratches or dents it may be discounted or have to be refined.

As for jewelry it gets more complicated; Karat type, weight, stones, and if there are diamonds will impact price. For example, a plain 14kt gold ring is only 14 out of 24 parts gold, so a little over half of the weight is precious metal and the rest of the alloy is typically copper or nickel to give it a more gold or silver tone. Such a ring may need to be refined and thus will cut into the percentage you will be paid. Whereas a high end piece in good condition that can be directly resold to another buyer wouldn’t have to undergo a refining process and the percentage paid to you will be higher. As a general rule the absolute minimum you will receive on jewelry that needs to be refined is 70% but with volume the rate we pay goes up. If a piece is in great condition and doesn’t need to be refined it can be worth more than just the gold price.

Diamonds

Historically, diamonds held quite a lot of value however in the past 5 years prices have tumbled over 25% for natural and over 75% for lab created (Fortune, 2025). It also doesn’t help that diamonds are typically marked up anywhere from 200-1000% in retail, similar to a brand new car driving it off the lot instantly devalues it by a significant amount. So we will be honest when evaluating your diamonds and recommend to you if it’s a piece you should keep in the family or we think will fetch more money in a private sale.

Just like the stock market, gold prices change constantly every weekday. We use the live spot price and will always give our highest price up front with no games or gimmicks.
